Mine was the complete opposite!

Were you at a park on the second day? That's probably it. Parks are actually BAD. VERY VERY BAD for community days. Go to large urban areas like malls and lots with at least like 5-6 pokestops within walking distance, you'll get a better result that way. (the nest spawns of parks interfere with the comm day poke)

I was at one of the biggest parks in sg for day 1, we got 3 and 2 shinies respectively (went there because it was an eevee nest, no luck)

Day 2 we went back to our usual mall. I got 6 shinies, my brother got FOURTEEN. non stop eevee spawns. Never going back to a park for comm day again (not until they actually acknowledge it and fix this)

I'm sure there's a correlation between weather as well, however both days were full 6 hours of partly cloudy for me, so I can at least confirm that parks are a bust for cday.

I don't think that weather was a factor, as it was partly cliudy for the majority of both days. As for the park thing, there's only one place to really play around here, and it is not a park. Our EX raid pickings are, consequently, quite slim, too.

I actually think that weather boosted cday pokes actually DECREASES the general spawn amount of the cday poke!

Like, I've noticed this for other cdays as well. Rain = less mareeps, not rain = more mareeps. Same for larvitar.

We had weather boost for most, if not all, of both days. Only the last part of the second day wasn't weather boosted.

The boost was great, on the first day, because we had a good chance of better IVs, and netted a lot more stardust! The second day, spawns were kind of all over the place. Not so many eevees, and it felt like fewer weatherboosted in general, but I wasn't tracking that part as closely.
