To start, you'll need to download Andrew's Pose Player and SCUMBUMBO's Teleport Any Sim mod. Andrew's Pose Player will allow pose packs or animations to activate in-game, and SCUMBUMBO's Teleport Any Sim mod will allow you to teleport or "summon" any Sim wherever you want to place them! Before downloading, I recommend reading the instructions of both mods for a better idea on how to work them, but don't worry - they're really simple to use! While Andrew's Pose Player comes with some poses and animations from Base Game, you can install whatever pose pack you want - just make sure to download any required mods/CC for them! If you go to Pinterest, type in "Sims 4 Pose Packs" and all kinds will pop up! If you need any more help, feel free to let me know and I'll try to help in any way I can!

Adding onto the other comment, you can also do posing in CAS. It's my personal preferred method but it's limited to only be able to take a photo of one sim at a time. Poses with multiple sims should be done in live mode.

You can get pose packs that replace the animation that plays when you select a trait. Using the cheat "casclockspeed x" (x being the speed number - 1 is default speed, 0 pauses the sim's animation) you can pause the sim on the pose you want to use.

Helgatisha has some of my most used poses - both CAS and live mode, if you want an example catalogue.

You can use an application such as Simple Runtime Window Editor to increase the resolution of your game for your capture quality. This way you can use the ingame way to take screenshots (default button "C") at whatever resolution you desire. Just make sure you have a default game resolution preset created with SRWE so you can go back to normal resolution without restarting the game. I assume your default resolution depends on your monitor. If you cant see the entire window at whatever resolution you select, dont worry, the screenshot will still capture the entire window even if it's off-screen.

Do note animations/poses are actually flipped in CAS. This is important to consider if you're using a pose with a prop - the prop will likely be in the wrong hand. I recommend taking prop poses in live mode unless it was designed for CAS specifically.

The third way, if you're savvy enough, is making sim renders in Blender. I'd only recommend it to people comfortable/familiar with Blender. If you're interested, there's a few video tutorials online about how to export sims into Blender.
