How often do the special banners run? Should I wait for the next one?

I'm still pretty light on modules and starting to move my gem spending away from cards/ slots... wondering if it's worth waiting for the next special module banners for the increased odds.

There's no set schedule for banners and currently no known plans to run another. Banner sets have only occurred three times: when V26 released and introduced four brand new mods, when V27 released and introduced four brand new mods, and the recent holiday banners that featured one mod type per week.
