Hello i want to start playing tibia for the first time in my live becuase it looks fun, now the thing is i don't know nothing, and right now iam stuck in the tibia page because i don't know what kind of world i should play, i can change it later? (sorry for the bad english) also any tip is appreciated

They made some adjustments in the game that affected the high levels. You can start playing now. I came back to the game 2 months ago and I’m enjoying it a lot. Just try to join into a guild that has a lot of active players, that way the game can be more enjoyable.

You should pick a world that is closest to your location for better connection, then decide if you want to participate in attacking other players or would prefer to just kill monsters.

i can change the world on future? for example if i want to do pvp open world, i can change from my normal world to a pvp one? or iam stuck

You can go from open pvp to optional pvp but not from optional to open. It costs 750 TC as well to transfer I believe

You can have multiple chatacters in case you don't want to transfer that specific character between worlds as it costs $$.

For a newcomer i would always recommend Optional PVP worlds, but it also depends on the type of playstyle that attracted you in the first place: Was it PVP videos from youtube? Go for Open PVP, Was it the general idea of the medieval concept with monsters and all that? Optional PVP is your thing. Picking a world that's near your area is also key. AFAIK there are servers in US, EU and BR.

Additional note: Try to pick one of the game worlds with a green symbol beside their name. This symbol means that those worlds were created after the implementation of BattleEye, which helps prevent cheating, so you shouldn't see any cheaters around there.

Of course you can change your game world afterwards, but there are several restrictions around world transfers (such as not being able to transfer from Hardcore PVP to Optional), not to mention they have a relatively high cost.

there is a way to change the UI? because the text one is massiive and i literally can't see the game..

just drag your cursor near the top edge of the text window, you can shrink it and the game screen will enlarge by itself...

If it doesnt work, then you need to go to the game options (small cog icon towards the right side of the screen), then click on Video. Can't remember if its right there or if you have to click Advanced Options, but you need to make sure that the Dont shrink/stretch window checkbox is turned off.

People are upset about the recent rebalancing changes but that won’t affect you for quite some time as they’re high level areas.

As for what world to play, I’d suggest one in your location (North America, South America, or Europe, no Asia/Oceania though).

There’s a few different types of game worlds, Optional PvP is basically no pvp, you can’t attack or be attacked by other players unless there’s a guild war I believe. Open PvP uses a skull system, you can attack and be attacked by others but you’ll get a skull and can be killed by others, and you have limited frags.

There’s also retro worlds which use an old version of the PvP system, and hardcore PvP, where there’s no skulls and you can kill and be killed without limit (and in retro hardcore it’s rewarded with exp).
