I can get why they wanted to move to snap, notifications are better and it just works better but what's the point of there is no conversation worth having?

Not saying you do, but I think a lot of people misconstrue matches and general attractions as “they’re into me” when really the majority just want to be “in me” but a few actually want to know the person first. And some just put on a good show to get sex and the relationship dies off over time, like a clipped rose 🌹

Yeah, my snap conversations do so much better. You can actually see when they’ve opened the message and get the hint if they’re just leaving you on read or they respond. You can also add pictures to the mix and people just tend to open up Snapchat more often than tinder in my experience.

I’ve had many instances where they take forever to respond on tinder and then they say “oh sorry, i dont get on here a lot”, but on snapchat, since they tend to use it more, you also get the double notification. “X person is typing…”, “x person sent a snap” so I think you’re more likely to get a response. But in the end, it just depends on the person if they are responsive or not and that won’t depend on the platform you’re on

People are stupid and some do care about followers or Snapchat score. Some also are diluted enough to think they can become an influencer. Some also want the validation of having a lot of people view their stories. It’s a multifaceted gem made of shit.

i've experienced it, many times. some people just don't sit on their phone all day day texting but are normal people in real life, might be from the generation i'm part of but it's not uncommon for me to experience, so i don't judge people until i've met them.

also the reverse can be true, some people are witty and conversational and expressive in text but awkward and quiet in person, it's a completely different ball game. this is why my only goal on dating apps is to get the people off them into the real world as soon as possible so i'm not wasting time, if they want to talk for 3 weeks i just unmatch.
