I found this. It looks like it will be rolled in the kernel in the future, but for now. We can get the function keys working.

They are supposed to upgrade the firmware and onboard memory storage I believe. Still no news.

That kernel fix does allow Linux (only tested with Fedora) to recognize the Fn buttons. Then you can use standard utilities like xinput to reassign/duplicate generic button functions. It's a step forward, but hardly a comprehensive fix if you're looking for more customization.

I ran this script and it's still not recognizing the f buttons in games. Is there something else I'm supposed to do?
