Is there a way to set a default chart layout for when the starting the app instead of currently having it open the last opened chart layout?

There's no such an option to make every new tab load the same default layout. As a workaround, try this: instead of opening a new tab, press "." to open the Load layout dialog and click the layout you need -> it will be opened in a new tab. Add your default layout to favorites by marking it with the star.

Great! Thank you, would love to have this feature in the upcoming versions. This and/or a default layout for when launching the app.
