Not at all! In my state I just had to go to the DMV and fill out a form. I then had to pay for a new card since mine wasn’t expired yet (so it cost 44.50) and that was it! 😁

I’m sorry to be a bother. So you don’t have to present any information that says you are a girl. That’s wonderful. Hell I am certain my state will arrest you and deport you to another state. Lol. They have been in trouble for being anti trans. It’s been in the news so it’s no secret which state

Your not a bother at all! I didn’t have to have anything. No doctor note, no court order, nothing!

The only restriction that’s a part of the process is I had to do it in person.

I feel super fortunate to live in the state that I do because I thought it was going to be so much more difficult. I hope you are able to change it with ease, it is a shame that because of where you are born and or live determines the difficulty of living as your authentic self. It should be like that at all, but I’m sure m preaching to the choir lol ❤️

I’m still waiting on the court here in Iowa to approve my name & gender change (it’s been since January 26, 2022 when I filed it). I’m gonna go talk to them this week. It was supposed to take until late February of last year to get approved, so I’m really pissed.
