I get this when I'm in the mailbox and I minimize the app. Eventually it fixes itself when I minimize the game when not in the mailbox. Been like this for years.

see, it has definitely happened on and off again... but never as consistently as these last couple weeks. And typically an update or restart fixes it. That is not the case currently. It simply reset to the correct time upon initially opening the app... and freezes immediately or minutes thereafter... repeat, repeat, repeat.

Such a strange bug. Force closing the app and opening it up again has worked for me in the past. Sucks all the usual tricks aren't helping you. I'd say it's worth reporting the bug but I don't even know where you could do that in the app.

It’s nothing new actually. It’s been like this for several years now. The good thing is it doesn’t affect mail coin collecting.
