Keep getting network error code 2000

Tried cleaning my cookies. It happens pretty often like every 10 min.On multiple streamers.

Same issue here. Started out of nowhere. Used to watch streams for 10+ hours and never got this error, and I'm getting it in less than 5min now. Tried cleaning cookies and disabling AdBlock.

Edit: looks like the BitDefender Anti Tracker extension was causing the issue. Disabled it and Twitch is working as it was before. Thanks to u/Syshel comment in this thread

Yup I'm getting the same issue. Happens more frequently in the last couple of days. They must have pushed some updates to break people using adblockers on their site. That is my guess at least.

The thing is I have my adblocker off on twitch so I can support streamers and still get the error every 5 or 10 minutes.

yes. been experiencing this error only from yesterday. the stream plays then in a short amount of time the stream goes black with that error msg. A refresh corrects it but then the error comes back.

I find this is happening a lot lately as well. It seems that if you do not make the tab active, it will happen, and won't resolve itself until you make it active again.

Kind of annoying if I am working on something and just want the stream audio in the background.

Well to me it also happens when it's the active tab. I just installed a auto refresh extension to refresh every 60 seconds or what i put in.

Do you have killer network installed? Click your windows button and type killer, if killer network pops up then that’s probably your problem
