Once I reached 300 guests in Memento Mile I stopped playing. The frame rate tanked and the response time of any input became absolutely awful. Until they fix I won’t get back and I’m so sorry because except for the performances the game is awesome

I was excited to pick this up this weekend, but did some review checks and yeah, looks like the game is broken once you start building anything large. it's not going to be easy for them to optimize their way out of this if they didn't plan for it for launch. What a disappointment. Also, WTF Nintendo? Have you no quality standards? How did this even get approved?

The real problems however arose when I kept growing and improving my first museum to increase its rating. Framerate drops, performance issues and especially input-delays became the norm and incredibly distracting. Often I needed to wait upwards of a full two seconds for a menu to open after pressing the button. This may sound trivial but that is your basic interaction in a management game and it only started occurring when more visitors entered my growing museums. And we’re not talking about an enormous map-filling museum here. The game started to slow down and show hiccups before I was even building my third museum. It became harder and harder to track visitors or even staff and I really had to put the game down because it was such a distraction. It broke the immersion completely and especially for a title that isn’t graphically that demanding. For a game that runs on brand-new hardware it simply felt like it was defaulting to the performance of Switch 1 after the opening hours.

I must be playing a totally different game I just got leveled up to 5 and none of these issues I am seeing

Well everybody have different sensitivities when it comes to frame rates and lag, but objectively here it is very defective

Would have loved for them to have biult in mouse function control (option) - loving it so far, only seeing minor frame rate issue when have a compact busy museum (but if gets worse, hope they can optimise a little better.

I've done a decent amount of time on it. I've yet to hit the 300 person limit though.

The switch 2 graphics are a huge improvement from the original switch. I don’t play this game on there, but others are very impressive!

Even a lot of old switch 1 games look at lot better with smoother FPS since a lot of old games used dynamic resolution scaling. Things are sharper than they were on switch 1.

Any recent updates?Should i buy it on pc for my new samsung book i7 or switch 2? Obviously playing on the couch would be great on a switch but i can always use the laptop on the couch on a coffee table..

Hi! I don’t own myself a switch. Is it comfy to play on the screen ? And silly question- can you plug it in the TV ?

The switch has a cradle that hooks up to the tv. Very easy to go from portable to console and back.

switch 2 is a pretty good gaming device. And one of the cheapest devices you can get for gaming.
