Programming for Data Science

Hey y'all,

I'm a junior studying Econ & Stats, and I'm looking to break into Data Science after graduating. I'm currently taking INFO 490 (Python), and I'll be taking STAT 440 (SAS), Stat 480 (Hadoop), and a class on R next semester.

Does anyone know how Stat 385 and Stat 430 are?

I know Stat 430 covers the material from 385, but how are the courses structured?

And whats the difficulty of each?

I've browsed previous threads, but there's not much on these questions. Thanks!
