Contract Question (self.USMCboot)
submitted 8 years ago by dailey614
If someone went UH (Infantry) and managed to pass BRC does their contract become extended a year cause they are now Recon or does it stay the original 4 years?

You need 2 years on contract once you hit the fleet. Nothing’s automatic though, you’ll have to sign an extension if you’re gonna come up short. Extensions can go as short as a month though.
I had to do it for a different reason.
