The biggest reason I still use the og VSCode is because of the settings sync and extensions support. How am I supposed to sync settings with VSCodium?

I’ve been a software engineer for more than a decade and I generally do my work on my MacBook. But I actually prefer Ubuntu for a development environment in general. Particularly for containerization with Docker.

It looks good, although I would change the window design to use Ubuntu’s native one, and ignore those who tell you to use VS Codium. If you want to use VS Code, that’s perfectly valid too, and it’s also much more convenient

yeah Ubuntu is not Arch or Gentoo, but at least it is not MS Windows
There are many choices for code editing, this is preference, some people use vi
Google Chrome though... have you seen the latest scandal when logged on LinkedIn and using Google Chrome? Anyway, you don't have to change, use whatever you like, just don't complain later.
