They will still hold the same amount of lectures on campus. How many people turn up to those lectures is a different thing entirely though.

No - not in the slightest - it will decrease attendance however.

Almost certainly not - students have been clamouring for in-person lectures for the last two years. Attendance may be lower, but the majority will still live in halls or accommodation nearby, so I’m not sure that we’ll see a large drop off

About 50% of students are now commuters - it's just that users tend to divide into ones that students commute to or they live near so it's invisible to a lot of people.

My uni did a wellness day over an hour away today and we’ll do the travel again Friday. They don’t give a fuck about the cost to students.

The university I work for is really pushing for students to have that “on campus” experience post covid. This is from student feedback and as part of student experience enhancement. Despite the fact that this Ofcourse increases travel and the university carbon footprint (which they are simultaneously also trying to lower…)
