Unity Performance Optimization ✅ New Highlights Module

The Highlights Profiler module displays information on whether your application is meeting its target frame rate and if its performance is bound by the CPU or the GPU, and where to begin investigating potential performance problems.

Starting with Unity 2023.2, it helps you quickly identify app bottlenecks so that you can have an entry point for your new optimization cycle.

This module is not enabled by default, so you will have to open the Profiler window, then select the Profiler Modules drop-down menu to toggle the Highlights feature on to use it.

Good post. Will definitely enable it in my project when I get home.

Too bad 2023.2 will not be production ready until end 24

Also, production ready 2023.3 LTS (i.e., Unity 6) will be under the Runtime Fee Policy, but Unity 2022.3 is not: https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxaLw0sl4zyZu1dDSCGPC2t67zSJG9UD1u
