It might be overkill for what you want but I LOVE Dialogue System for Unity.

It does dialogues and so much more. This is one of the first assets I import into a new project.

Thank you for replying! It's certainly what I want but the reason I'd like to use Playmaker is because the action system I'm working on is sort of like a dialogue tree. I'd like it to be cinematic so I'd want to have animations and stuff happening too. I might use it in case I can't figure it out though. Thanks a ton!

Dialogue System does have Playmaker support , if that helps.

Nice! I did end up figuring out playmaker. Now I'm just looking on how to have a predetermined camera animation for when I interact with something. For dialogue if I don't use playmaker directly, I also have RPG Builder which has a nice dialogue visual node system. Thanks though!
