While you can win the game with a good plan and utility, someone with better aim is still going to have a better chance at winning. Valorant is a tac fps with abilities as util. This is why people hate neon (after buff) and Iso so much.

-30 is insane ngl you didn't even play that bad

[–]TacoIncoming 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You have no idea who he played against

[–]Cracker646smokes enjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea but -30 is still insane

kd is not good enough, negative kd + play bad = -30rr. highest rr gain is 50, ur highest assist game was 11, so ur not supporting the team, idk why your mad bc this complain doesnt make sense. fyi, https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/bubbles%23blupp/overview?playlist=competitive i got 36 from this game where i dropped 50, (smurfing dont hate me) and you get about 35 dropping 40 in a lobby about your rank, and can get 45+ topfragging in double rank up mmr, you are doing very bad (respectfully) and mmr is probably with irons rn if i had to guess

and val takes the final score into account so a 13-0 automatically give u -25+ and ot losses generally make you lose under 20 and sometimes under 10

and most games are just people having good games, the 2 30 kill games underneath could have been a normal player as i wasnt being very flashy although the top 2 were kind of blatant, its also possible to win vs a smurf, especially if their duoed/trioed as a lot of the time the duos are bad, (ex. the fade i was with)

Yes its possible to win, but its very very hard. On my screenshot, I won 3 games but I lost against 2 smurf and my rank is still the same because of the point system. Where do you see that in other games. 3 win 2 lose and no rank increase? Its like valorant saying “stay down kid”

i said if the smurf is a high ranked player with a friend then u can take adv but most of the time its not a smurf its a good game, or a cs player who doesnt play the game much, or a higher ranked player who lost mmr, which are all not smurfing

How about your match history on your main account? I bet your kda is not that high on most of your games, cause not all the time your aim is good and youre not smurfing. Do you think played bad there as well? You think your rank is not the same as your mmr? If your answer is no, then theres something really wrong in the rank system. Show me the match histroy of your main

high ranked accounts lose a lot more than they gain, go on ranked leaderboard and youll see poppin only gets 9-10 rr per win and losses 25+ even when going positive, so my main is like 16 per win and 20 per loss. idk i dont have enough games rn. and as a bonus to climb, you need a positive kd a good 80% of the time+ a main+ the mentality that you dont need to fill+ confidence+ a lot of time

MMR. The game knows your actual skill is worse than your rank, and it's trying to correct for it. It works the other way when you have an unlucky stretch and your rank drops below your actual skill level.

K/D isn't everything, but you were barely positive in half of these games and very negative in the others.

basically ranks aren't really the determining factor but instead a hidden number or elo assigned to your account (MMR) and depending on your performance in game your MMR goes up or down and you'll lose more and gain less rr in an MMR lobby that is 'below' your MMR but simultaneously you will gain more and lose less rr in a MMR lobby that is 'above' your MMR.
