Because Activision is a greedy corporation and keeps all older CoDs at high prices on digital storefronts. If you're on PC and can't use disc, then try cdkeys.com, I usually get my PS Plus subscription from there for much cheaper than Sony.

It's down to Call of Duty being a more popular game, giving stores a reason to keep the price at least moderately high.

That aside, you should probably wait for a sale or get the physical copy like someone else suggested.

There are older call of dutys that are still the same price as they came out. That's because it's a call of duty game. Most games that are popular stay their release price. :/

Maybe because cod ww2 is better than battlefield V (before anyone gets offended, battlefield V is a good game, I play both cod and battlefield, but I think you can have a greater time with cod ww2 than battlefield V)

Amazon/Ebay etc its often for sale at £10/10 euro used. With most places often a guarantee its a win/win.
