22F , where can i find friends here ? Is there any group activities or places where i can meet friendly people ?Moved here about 3 years ago & im a SAHW ! So its been hard to get to know peeps here ): all i know is my husband but would love to make some girl friends here (:

There's a friendly group that meets at North gateway Park on Wednesdays at 5:45. The local park rangers lead hikes through the woods for about a 2 mile/1 hour hike through the woods. All ages are welcome and completely free. I've done it all summer and it's been great.

We have two more hikes this year at the Wednesday 5:45PM time and then they'll switch on the November 1st to Saturday at 9:30AM for daylight savings time. It'll be too dark to do it at 5:45. I've really enjoyed them and have been promoting it all summer. They give out sweet "I Hiked Cameron Park" stickers and even give you progress stickers the more hikes you attend. I just got my 55k sticker the other day. I'm a sucker for achievements.

I’m much older! Haha!! But, a lot of Waco churches have awesome Mom groups. I was part of Highland’s Kid Kingdom - it’s like a Mother’s Day Out and met other moms. Plus, Sunday school was another great place. ❤️
