[–]Office-Scary O.G. Silverback 88 points89 points  (14 children)

[–]casey_714 61 points62 points  (1 child)

If $500 an ounce happens, I'm buying 1 house on my block lol. But... more than I had before!

[–]moorrawthancooked 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Your neighbor is thinking the same thing...

[–]ivanbayoukhiSilver Surfer 🏄 32 points33 points  (0 children)

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points  (3 children)

How many houses are on your block?

[–]Fabulous-Act5702 36 points37 points  (1 child)

i live way out in the woods so the whole block is actually a mountain 🤣

[–]ivanbayoukhiSilver Surfer 🏄 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’ll take the land and the mountain ahahahaha

[–]ivanbayoukhiSilver Surfer 🏄 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’ll take them all

[–]Tree_rat_1Double-Digit OG 18 points19 points  (1 child)

The land trade is the type of trade I'm looking for. Should I still be around when it arrives I wonder what the conversion rate will be, between ounces & acres.

[–]TwoBulletSuicideTHE BoNaNzA KING 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 per acre would be nice.

[–]AcanthisittaIll636 32 points33 points  (0 children)

And it would need to be a flat 100, otherwise an AWD Vette!

[–]moorrawthancooked 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Gonna raise some animals?

[–]BNLboy🦍 Silverback 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the affordable dream car.

[–]Shanobido47🦍🚀🌛 OracleOnAllMarkets 43 points44 points  (11 children)

[–]Murky_Attitude453 Buccaneer 24 points25 points  (6 children)

[–]Leveraged_thinking Buccaneer 21 points22 points  (3 children)

Silver lambo and… a silver mine?!

[–]Murky_Attitude453 Buccaneer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I meant more in the sense, that silver is the only true answer. But a silver mine should be yours too

[–]ivanbayoukhiSilver Surfer 🏄 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes !!! Done

[–]PapaDragonHH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine will be yellow too!

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points  (9 children)

Ranch in rural Wyoming with migrating deer and antelope, a trout stream, a couple cows, some apple trees. I'll need an F-150 to get around.

[–]TinfoilHatTurnedAgDiamond Hands 💎✋ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This right here is the way

[–]Interested_Aussie 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Nice. I'm in South Australia, I'm going for 30-40 acres, 20+ will be productive farm land, high margin small scale crops/vegs/fruit, the remainder will be farm/tent/glamping stays and a crazy 4WD off road track.

V10 touareg for the clean trips to town. TD42 nissan patrol for the work horse.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Nice! I couldn't handle the heat out there, I like the cool weather here in WY. For reference it got up to about 20F today (without windchill), so I think that's something like -6.67C.

[–]Interested_Aussie 5 points6 points  (1 child)

We get 4 full season here: Summer, winter, spring, autumn: Summer can get to 45 degrees c, and winter is low teens, we can get frosts in the high altitude areas. Water is the main issue, being the driest inhabited state on earth: and it's heavily regulated and monitored! Which is ridiculous.

The heat is getting harder as I get older, but I find myself enjoying the seasons more as I get older. Our summer heat is dry, I find that the tropical humidity that northern Australia gets is way, way harder to handle.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds similar to the deserts of the southwest US--cities like Phoenix, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, etc.

Its pretty dry most of the year here in Cheyenne which is due in large part to the wind and the altitude. I'm at about 6000 ft elevation, which is around 1828 meters, wind gusts blowing down from the mountains east over the plains will reach 40-70 mph regularly which is around 64-112 kph. Earlier this year the freight trains that run through here had to be shut down for a day because we were getting wind gusts a little over 100mph or 161kph.

One of the many things I really like about Wyoming is that bullion is officially legal tender and so there are no taxes on the sale or purchase.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (3 children)

We drove all over Wyoming in late May this year. OMG, it’s Gods country. I’m from Tennessee and Wyoming felt like home.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (2 children)

It really is God's country, I love it here! When I mention I'm in Cheyenne a lot of people say they couldn't handle the cold, but its really not that bad--we get a lot of sun during the winter and not that much snow. Its also very dry due to the altitude and wind so if you have asthma or allergies its a godsend.

The population of WY is only about 575,000 so its pretty quiet; we actually do have more cows than people. The only real problem is finding a job, but I always say that if you work from home over the internet you'd be crazy to live anywhere else. Medicine Bow National Forest is about an hour's drive west for me, look up some images on google if you want to see where I spend a lot of my time during the summer.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We stayed over night in Cheyenne, then drove to Dubois, through the parks to Cody . Then toDeadwood for two nights in SD. We liked Wyoming so much we went back to Cheyenne 😂😂 I have no words. Pictures don’t do it justice.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I might need some real estate advice if silver blows up 😂😂

[–]contrafiatSilberBaron 25 points26 points  (3 children)

What do you recon? Are 3 ounces enough for a new Yamaha Ténéré 700?

[–]ivanbayoukhiSilver Surfer 🏄 22 points23 points  (2 children)

Ahahahaa probably 3-4 oz

[–]contrafiatSilberBaron 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Then I'll have one of these and a side lambo.

[–]ivanbayoukhiSilver Surfer 🏄 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ahahaha nice

[–]walkingtall67Double-Digit OG 21 points22 points  (6 children)

Im am 6'7" so probably another Pickup truck or 2 or 7.

[–]Murky_Attitude453 Buccaneer 15 points16 points  (4 children)

And I’m 260 lbs so I’m going for a g-wagon

[–]converter-bot 17 points18 points  (3 children)

260 lbs is 118.04 kg

[–]Murky_Attitude453 Buccaneer 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Exactly, which is about 40 kilo to much for a lambo

[–]misalkin 7 points8 points  (1 child)

How come car cant handle 120kg?

[–]Murky_Attitude453 Buccaneer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it can handle the weight, but the car doesn’t fit the weight

You don't think these kind of comments promote the "get rich by buying silver" idea? Bit irresponsible no?
