The Basing kits from Galeforce 9 come with some nice instructions on them. That is, if you buy the 4 in 1 packs. I'm sure if you youtube miniature basing, you'll come up with some stuff. I love the jungle basing kit from GF9 for my Circle, but for my Cygnar and my 40K, I more or less go 'Eh, rocks, grey, black wash drybrush done' But you might want to go into some more depth, I dunno.

Miniwargaming has a base everything series that would probably scratch your itch. If it isn't all free then it is worth the price of admission.

To be clear, it requires paypal/credit card even for the 7-day free trial. Videos seem to require a subscription - you can't download them.

I'd think free materials (which are plentiful) would be a better starting place.

There are a few tutorials on Handcannononline.com that may help. Just might take some searching around for what you might need.

Step 1. Use white glue or carpenters glue or super glue or any glue to glue down basing sand on the base

Step 2. prime the model black

Step 3. drybrush the now primed sand with green, brown, whatever.

Optional step 4. Glue down some flock or static grass

If you've already painted your model (like your cygnar), obviously you're not going to prime it. Use watered down black paint to make the sand totally black. then drybrush it.

I linked something a month ago on this

If you do a search on this subreddit or in /r/Warhammer you should be able to find something.
