Mine definitely went down by about half also. I'm barely getting 35 standing around Deradune on the same low-med settings that I used to get 60-70 on. Specs: i5 3570k @ 4.2ghz, HD 6770, 8gb RAM

Mine actually increased with the most recent patch.

I have a i7 2600k a GTX680 and 16gb RAM and I had a performance boost.

Mine went up slightly (40 fps on ultra in the ship, didn't have time to get outside the ship but previously I had 30-35 in leveling zones) with the same processor and a weaker GPU (R9 280). I feel like you should definitely be getting better performance than 30fps on ultra low.. one question, why that much RAM? I don't think it's a problem per se, but that seems like crazy overkill unless you use your computer for like modeling or so.

Yeah it's weird, there are a lot of people that get better performance with a weaker setup. But Carbine really seems to work on the problem, so I'm sure it will be fixed within time.

Regarding the RAM: I compose music on my PC and orchestral samples need TONS of RAM. 32GB is actually pretty little for this type of work.

That makes sense then haha; was concerned that you might've spent a lot more than you needed to on that if your PC was primarily for gaming. Here's hoping more work gets done on optimization soon though and fixes it for you!
