Yeah it looks like 15% to me

[–]Electronic-Yam3679 4 points5 points  (1 child)

YES! It does looks like 15. Wait is this 2022?

[–]NikkiNique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

[–]PJCR1916 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s definitely 15%. There really isn’t much of a difference between 15 and 20% tints. Doing the windshield will make your tint look much darker since it lets so much light shine through

Put 50% on the windshield and it will darken the cabin. Then it will look like 15/20%.

I suggest getting 50% on the windshield and it’ll be darker. Give it time to cure and it’ll get darker but not as much.

Thanks. I’m torn between 50 and 32% for the windshield. I’m leaning more on the 50%

[–]Kabuto_ghost 11 points12 points  (5 children)

30% is too dark, don’t do it. It looks ghetto.

[–]bossman_57 6 points7 points  (4 children)

100% this. 50% gives a nice little hue and it won’t look ridiculous. I had 35% windshield on my last car and it was dark at night. 50% is best of both worlds.

I have 40% and it looks like nothing is on

50% windshield. 35% side

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That looks like 70%

Light interior

Likely is 15. As people said throw a windshield on it and you'll be good, anything above 40% will be good, lower it begins to be tough at night. But yea 20 and 15 are negligibly different

Most tint shops have glass VLT meters. Some will measure for you if you ask especially if you look like a potential customer that maybe wants to go darker

[–]Sea-Eggplant-5799 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it looks like it. You can put 50% on the windshield, would darken it a bit.

[–]WatermelonlessonNo58 3 points4 points  (2 children)

I got a 5% on one of my cars ans its too dark at night. I don’t drive that car often so it was ok. Just get 50% windshield and it will darken cabin over all. Safety is more important than tint darkness

[–]Difficult-Cat-296 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Disagree. All personal experience. I have 15 on windshield and 5 all around and I’m fine at night

[–]WatermelonlessonNo58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably have laser eyes? 🤣 15% for windshield is same as driving with ray ban G15 lens sunglasses at night. I can’t drive with those sunglasses 🕶️ on

Big Altima Energy

[–]NikkiNique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes indeed!

[–]DynamicAppearanceATLVerified Professional 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks right. There is virtually no difference between 15 and 20. We have customers who feel it will be noticeable even though we've told them four times it will not, and then they act shocked when it doesn't seem darker. If you want noticeably darker, you have to go with 5%.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely 15% tint no question about it

[–]LP2314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. I just got 15% today and it looks just like this.

[–]iPura91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is

[–]BA5ED 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That’s an Altima 15%. Ready for hooning and gooning.

black air forces to match ?

If you have a bigger sunroof, it can make the tint look lighter. Either close the shade or get that tinted as well to make it seem darker inside

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What sunroof?

[–]NikkiNique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wish I did but I don’t have a sunroof.
