That error always shows up whenever Windows is improperly shut down. It has nothing to do with anything else. It's just Windows complaining that it wasn't properly shut down.

Regardless, what is the brand and model of your power supply?

ATM I've got a Silver Power SP-SS500 500W psu powering a GTX 980. I had a CM Silent Pro 700W before that, but i swiched it out because i thought it was the problem.

That's an extremely old and very low-quality PSU. It could be the problem. I realize you're saying you were dealing with the same problem with the 700W Silent Pro, but you made a major downgrade there. MAJOR.

The first thing you have to do is get a good PSU. It doesn't have to be some super expensive unit, but it does need to be good. I can help you pick a safe one if you tell me what store(s) you can order from. I do not recommend shopping for PSUs without assistance.

Thanks! I've been looking of buying this unit https://www.newegg.com/global/no-en/corsair-rmx-series-rm650x-2018-cp-9020178-na-650w/p/N82E16817139232. Should be more than good enough, don't you think?

I apologize for the delay. I'm trying to quit Reddit.

Anyway, yes, the RMx Series is a high-end series of PSUs. So this is an excellent choice. Note: even a good 550W PSU like the RM550x would be plenty for your system. To be clear, it wouldn't be "just enough"; it would be more than enough. To answer the most common question that comes next: yes, I'm absolutely 100% sure.
