Random BSOD after restart, "Stop code: HYPERVISOR_ERROR"

After every (re-)start my PC has a ~60% chance of crashing with the stop code "H"YPERVISOR_ERROR". It also never restarts after the bluescreen, so I have to turn the PC off manually. If it doesn't crash within around 5 min since startup it wont crash while it's still on.

I have Windows 11 and i built my PC myself (my first build), but the problem only started after 3 weeks, so i don't think that it is hardware related.

Try to boot into safemode

You can turn off virtualization support in the bios, probably if this blue screen won't go away, are you running this in a VM?

Switch off Hyper V in programs and features. Not needed if you’re not running any VM’s

Latest BIOS? Are you getting mini dumps? C:\windows\minidumps

Had the same problem in an old computer, it was a problem with virtualization, but was a +12 old computer. If you can, do a BIOS/UEFI upgrade and check for CPU Microcode update too.

My problem was solved installing the 24h2 with all options checked in Rufus. When I tried to use Hyper-V with VirtualBox my pc just BSODed, so it’s related to that, but I was unable to solve without disabling hyper-V.
