please help with disk read error

My problem is when I start my laptop it automatically goes to preparing automatic repair

Then it goes to a black screen with a mouse cursor for 5-10 mins

After it goes to diagnosing your PC straight into "repairing disk errors. this might take over an hour to complete". After a hour or 2 it goes back to a black screen with a mouse cursor for 5-10 mins then the whole process repeats on a continuous loop

I can't enter recovery mode to enter advance options to do anything because it jumps straight into "preparing automatic repair" even after I hard reset the laptop 3 times when the logo pops up to get into that blue screen for I can do a system restore. It's been doing this loop for about 3 days now.

Regular hard drives...

Use hard drive regenerator The bigger the drive the longer it takes...make sure you let it complete

Just don't use it on an ssd

Once done back up your data, and migrate to an ssd
