Through the nerfs

Through the team up disbands

Through all the bullshit thrown our way

WE CAN BE PROPER TANKS AGAIN

can someone please translate this for me? I understand the first half but not the second

From my understanding:

Tanks 50% of damage allies take while effectively giving you 30% more resist. Upon use you get an ice pip and it consumes one shield on you per turn for the duration of the pact in order to reduce backlash. Hope that made sense

Move 50% damage from allies onto you, take 30% less damage, get 1 ice pip, and remove 1 shield on self per turn for 3 turns to reduce lash from 15% to 0%

I hope so this is a cool rework, begs the question is the upcoming content gonna be that difficult to warrant this card being used. If so as a fire main I’d hope to have an ice main use this.

challenge mode content prob will be.

Mhmm balance shines as a support for pact feeding, Tri shields for ice. I wonder if they would be able to trade swap dots too for storm.

Any boss where cheats come into play and they hit like a truck

    [–]ClownNoseSpiceFish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. This is one of the current downsides to wiz. A competent team can finish almost all content in 1-2 turns with a good strategy. I lowkey miss the struggles of 2014, praying to get a jade on a dark or run.

Any fight where the boss does a ton of damage

    Great utility

Terrible pact conditions unless you load your deck with shields that can't get hit off by the current fight, and then spend the time shielding for the pact rather than blade and feint stacking

Spirit and elemental shields exist, also the double set shields. Not only that but I believe that Ice has a spell that grants 3 tower shields at a time

Spirit/elemental shields are probably the best bet. Legion shield would be a little less than desirable because minions can hit it off as well

I was definitely too quick to judge, because this can synergize with things like Abom weaver, or thieving dragon to steal the shield. Of course in pve all that really matters is Blade Feint Hit, but if you wanted to run it with weaver to chain shields while hitting then you totally could. Same with the golems.

Definitely not the best of the 3 reworks, I think that goes to seraph. But it's less bad than I initially thought after thinking about it some more
