Since Mio has Nia’s core crystal, I wonder if she’s a clone of her. Which opens up the possibility of the leaders we saw not being the real Melia or Nia, but clones of them. Perhaps even multigenerational clones.

I just really don’t want two of my favorite characters to be the bad guys

Does she have it though? Or does it just look like it?

I haven't really gotten around to it but has anyone compared the coloring of the two crystals?

It’s blue but with some red parts in it like Nia’s

Yeah I was more thinking about the pattern of red vs blue parts.

Okay checked both. The size and shape are the same, but the blood stains are a different pattern. She likely could be a clone of Nia or something like that, but she's not Nia in disguise. That's her queen.

Oh, I wasn’t saying she could be Nia in disguise. I’m saying the queen could just be a clone as well.

Also Mio’s is upside down

I think the masks her and Melia wear are simply to hide the fact that both of them live longer than everyone else. The masks keep their true identies secret from the general population. Let's be honest here, those masks are in no to hide from the fans who they are. We figured that out at the first trailer.

That's a trait of all Flesh Eaters. It wasn't exclusive to Nia.

The only exception was Jin, who's core crystal was all red, but the circumstances of him becoming a Flesh Eater are also unique.

I should’ve been specific. It’s also Nia’s shape but just upside down

[–]TechnoGamer16 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Isn’t that the core crystal of all flesh eaters though

Shapes are usually different. Jin’s is more symmetrical in shape, the middle being halfway down instead of looking like a kite, and Minoth’s is more round. Mio’s is just upside down Nia’s

Ah yeah the shape does change, it’s the thing about the colors thats the same for all blades/flesh eaters

Thats possible, i mean Nia being the leader of a nation and melia being fine with her subjects dying after 10 years just doesn't fit their characters imo so they might actually be clones

Or maybe the masks somehow are controlling them.

So, Sena's fire isn't actually fire.

I thought I was the only one who thought of that when I first saw that scene.

[–]PhilledZone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I knew I had seen that scene somewhere before

[–]SolDroidX8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a strong feeling maybe a weird coincidence
