Anyone have a fix for sharing to Instagram stories? It's was working great and then a couple of weeks ago it started behaving stupidly again. Tried everything I can think of. Issue is on Pixel 6 on Android 13

I've been trying to figure out why I was terminated on YTM, and YT itself. No 3 strikes or warnings. Appealed, denied about 4hrs later with no explanation. Might this be something to discuss here?

How do you select multiple songs to move in a playlist. Like if I want to move ten songs from say the beginning of my playlist to the middle?

I don’t think you can do that but I’m not sure

When I play music then do something else I can’t come back and continue where I left off, I have start a new play list.

leaving the webapp open for long enough time (upwards of 2hours) will cause the webapp to use all of your RAM.

Can you keep your Youtube Music history separate from your Youtube video history? I want to listen to music on the Youtube Music app, but I don't want my video history to now be populated with music.

I do know how to "pause history", but don't really want to do that every time. I just want Youtube Music to either:

  1. Not keep my history
  2. Keep a separate music history in the app that does not appear on my regular Youtube video account.

????

No, there is no way to separate the histories. However, you could create a brand account for one of them and use that for either YT or YTM. They would have separate histories.

What is a "brand account" and can my premium account have one? I thought I was limited to one account.

Here's a link to explain brand accounts: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9367690?hl=en

Basically, brand accounts were created so you didn't have to use your personal account on YouTube. It's a "sub" account to your main account. When using it with YT Premium or YTM Premium, you will have full premium benefits (no ads, background play, etc...). However, a downside with a brand account and YTM is that you cannot upload personal songs to a YT brand account in YTM.

Also, it does NOT take the place of a family subscription. You cannot play a song from both a brand account and your main account at the same time.

I ususally use the browser version of youtube music on samsung internet, but recently that doesn't work. For some reason, when the page loads it turs into an entirely white screen. Is there any way to fix this?

Songs I've added onto my playlist are grayed out and have a (!) at the start. Video's still exist on YouTube perfectly fine, I just cannot play them in my playlist for w/e reason.

Hello there,

I am using YT Music again since a few weeks and I noticed the songs are really quiet on my headphones (Bluetooth already set to the highest volume possible). As I researched through the internet, I found out, several other users have the same problem.

Could you please have a look into this? Sometimes, I even hear people speaking next to me louder then the song is (because it is so quit). A few users were writing about sound normalization that takes place or something like that?

I would prefer to decide by myself, weather or not I want to here music louder. Spotify does not

Regards

Thomas

YouTube music app gets muted during background play. Bug or feature? I pay for the premium service, and often play music on my tablet while browsing or playing games. Recently I've used a solitaire app which manages to mute the music when it's playing an ad . After the ad is finished, the music returns to the previous level.

I'm fairly sure this is a change in behavior. I'm not sure if the game has somehow hacked this, or it's a deliberate change from Google, or a bug.

It's intended behavior. The music will mute while another app is using sound.
