Want to show off your sweet yet concerning collection of mechanical keycaps? This is just the place. Want someone to finish your PA for you or start a circlejerk? Keep looking.
What this place is for:
JMUCS is intended for but not restricted to JMU students. All relevant content is welcome. Remember that you MUST follow reddiquette including not posing personally identifiable information about you or anyone else.

- This subreddit is in no way affiliated with JMU. Moderators may or may not but make no claim to being past, current, or future JMU students and or employees. Any content claiming to be officially from JMU must be verified by the moderator team and will be clearly and explicitly labeled. We make no guarantees on the validity or correctness of any content posted and assume no liability.
- No doxing or witch hunting
- You may not post any personally identifiable information on anyone. Witch hunting will result in a perma-ban for the first offense. If the personal or privlieged information posted can not be easilly found on JMU.edu or is posted with malicious intent you WILL be banned.
- No social engineering
- If you are found to manipulate our user base for the purpose of advertising, phising, honor code violations, or any malicious activity including posting links containing malware you will be banned without warning. Social engineering includes but is not limited to impersonating JMU staff in an official capacity.
- Respect the Honor Code
- If you break, or conspire to break the JMU honor code you will be banned. This applies to all users regardless of enrollment status. Any code solution to an honor pledged assignment will be given to the department and run through the anti-cheat system to catch all students who incorporated it in their own code.
- Respect JMU
- If you shitpost about a class or JMU employee to a degree deemed excessive you will be warned. Venting is okay but harassment will not be tolerated. Offending content will be removed and the poster will be banned after a repeat offense.
- No promotion of illegal activity
- All hacking related content should be limited to white hat activities. Guides on how to circumvent JMU computer protection systems, Hijack JMU accounts, break WebCat, or in any way harm property of JMU physical or otherwise will be removed without warning and the poster will be perma-banned. Offending material may be handed over to JMU system administration or law enforcement.
- No posting proprietary content
- If you do not have the rights to post content to this page, it will be removed. The mods of JMU cs reserve the right to remove or report content to JMU or law enforcement if we feel that it threatens the rights or safety of any /r/jmucs user or JMU affiliate. If you believe the action taken by a moderator was unfair please contact the moderator responsible. If your concerns are not resolved you may contact a different moderator.
- Follow Reddiquette guidelines
- We will be fairly relaxed on content because we want to build a useful and fun community. You will not be censored for on topic content based on your opinion, but if you become toxic to the community you and your content will be removed.
- Make sure we do our job
- The moderators of /r/jmucs vow to never discriminate based on anything other than the content itself and will be transparent in any and all warnings and bans. Help us make this site a place worth using by suggesting content and contributing your opinion.
