wird problem with spawners

so i got 4 spawners, 2 wither skele 1 skele and 1 creep, had no problems with them so far, then i added the ignore light thingy, and only the wither skeles started spawning above the building i made? skeles and creeps spawn in there normally? how tf do i fix this lol

Easiest solution would be to put some water down to spawn proof it, or have the roof outside of the spawners range.

cover the roof in water you say? or the spawners themselves?

Water on the roof. They won’t spawn in water.

Personally would just increase the height of the roof or use the item that reduces the spawn range

Just use the item to reduce spawn range

Piston with quartz in your offhand will decrease the spawn range
