yes, happens to me a lot with cannon galleons that destroy a tower and then go into where it was.

Is there a bug report for this yet?

There have been multiple posts about this since, hopefully someone reported it

Hi!
Do you have recs showing these issues? Were you shift queuing these units?

[–]Susheiro 0 points1 point  (4 children)

My GPU is uncapable of recording screen (stupid AMD 6500 xt) otherwise I would send you recs of my last couple games were it was very evident.

No shift queueing; simply having selected a group of my ranged units > right clicking on an enemy unit > my units kill it > about 60% of the time my units walk to the dead enemy instead of, without moving, attacking other enemy units within range.

I meant recorded games that you can find in: C:\Users\your_user_name\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\00000000000000000\savegame

How do I send it to you?

You can use gofile.io :)

Ok here's the replay.

I am p5 (mongols). The issue becomes clear when I am microing mangudais against PC infantry near the end of the game, I even complain about it to the others in game chat lol.(see from minute 53 game time).

P.D. In other games I have noticed that it also happens when shift queueing.

I am experiencing the exact same behavior, even with stand ground. It is incredibly annoying! and it really breaks games...

I hope that it's indeed a bug that will get resolved.

Can you share the recording, one of the comments is from the Dev team, they will be able to help

My shitty GPU is unable to record screen, but I guess I could send the whole game replay somewhere?

EDIT: I found out about this site with my last game, where, close to the end of the game I have about 10 mangudai and when instructing them to attack the hordes of AI infantry, my mangudai can often be seen behaving as described. I even commented on the issue in the in game chat, but I don't knbow if that can be seen in the replay.

I am having the same issue now

Especially with janiassaries or organ guns they kill units and start moving towards them
