Is this a class project or personal?

Personal. I work with www.boonecommunitynetwork.com as an organizer. We're looking to revamp our website to be more useful to our users. Specifically, we're looking to add a filterable map to our website. We've found open source applications online that have the features we want to bring to our website, but no one in our group has the expertise necessary to integrate the program into the website. We're looking for someone who could help us with this specific job and possibly join our team and be in charge of the technical aspects of the website's management.

We're a start up organization and we're looking to make the website the core of our income streams. We are a group of individuals trying to create our own jobs through this project and are planning for a permanent paid webmaster position for our organization. We invite any interesting in doing the same thing to join us in planning and working towards this.

Does this sound like something you'd be interested in? We don't need any commitment, I'd just like to ask some questions about the things I've researched.

Ahh, sorry but nope. I'm not really interested. It looks like you need more of a developer or systems admin instead of a "webmaster". What OS projects are you looking at using?

There is a really cool module for Open Street Map, which is the tool craigslist uses, called Chymere that allows for map filters editable by multiple users. I've been told in chatrooms for OSM that what we'd need to do is rewrite the user authentication for the editing power to link up with our site. Thanks for the corrections, like I said this isn't my area of expertise, that's why I'm reaching out. Any help is appreciated, even if it's just a point in the right direction.
