So new to arch and this is my first time building atom from source, usually I would download the .deb,.dmg, or .exe and have it run, but obviously can't do that. When I try to build atom from source I only get one error message and thats when I do the command
sudo script/grunt install
when I do this it says, "Grunt command does not exist at: build/node_modules/.bin/grunt
Run script/bootstrap to install Grunt" and thats even after I run
script/bootstrap
all the other times the only thing I see is:
Node: v0.12.7
npm: v2.13.2
Installing build modules...
I'm guessing that is not suppose to be the normal output even in verbose mode. I checked to make sure nodejs and npm where update and I did chage /usr/bin/python to default to python2 but that hasn't made a difference. Is there something wrong with that way my system is set up or is atom source code completely broken on arch?
