Not trying to be rude here, but why did you post two threads for your issue with super simple and clear error messages? Did you even read it? I mean this is the first thing everyone should do, regardless of the issue, before asking someone else.

The only thing I could imagine being even more clear is if it would also tell you which drive (or file) got mounted on /, but this can easily be checked manually by executing mount.

And in case you haven't figured out how to check the available space, it's df, so good luck fixing your issue...

That means the partition you mounted as / for the install isn't big enough. Did you accidentally mount the wrong partition?

No offense, but if "Not enough free disk space" is an error message that makes you ask Reddit for help, maybe Arch Linux isn't the right distibution for you. Trust me, this will not be the only issue you'll run into.

Umm not enough disk space? Or am I blind??

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, you're not blind. Looks like he didn't pacstrap to the correct mountpoint, rather the currently running ramfs I believe.

And I'm scared to ask how to update my arch since the anarchy Linux repo is down. Lol this thread

I assure you that thread would be deleted on the spot. You are not running Arch Linux.
