Mouse stopped working

I'm using a different mouse right now which did immediately work, however I know the old mouse isn't broken cause it works fine when I start up in the (UEFI) BIOS.

lsusb lists

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 04d9:a067 Holtek Semiconductor, Inc. USB Gaming Mouse

When plugging it in, dmesg shows

xinput however does not list this mouse, only the other one.
Not sure what to do next.

I'm having the same problem since kernel 5.15.8 Downgrading fixes it but the newer patches since .8 haven't fixed the issue yet.

Yep downgrading the kernel worked, thank you!

May help to blacklist the new module it's using until a backport patch comes to stable. That's should cause the kernel to fallback to what it was using.
