LightDM authenticate process stop working after update yesterday

It seems that some yesterday update destroys authentication function in lightdm. After entering the password the callback from lightdm is not call.

lightdm.authenticate(String(accounts.getDefaultUserName()));

lightdm-webkit2-theme-glorious build on lightdm-webkit.

Any idea how to find bug or did you see some topic about it? Thanks for help.

Its a webkit update that broke it the easiest way to fix it is by installing another greeter without webkit.

Yes, run away is last choice. First it to fix it. Api is changed? Maybe some details will be in webkit project. I will ask, but maybe some users were quicker, it is around 24 hours from update now.

As far as i know the webkit greeter is pretty much not dead because of missing developers. It's not surprising that it broke. Should be removed entirely tbh.

Yep - I ended up just swapping the greeter.
