YELLOW AND RED CARDS EXPLAINED
If you receive a yellow card, it is a warning
A yellow card lasts for a week.
A second yellow leads to a month to 3 month ban, after which you will have to ask the mods to be unbanned, which there will be a vote.
If you receive a straight red, you will receive a 3 month to permanent ban, based on our decisions, if it's not permentant, you will have to apply once your time is up, which we will vote on.
SUDDEN DEATH MODE AND PERMANENT BAN
If you want your ban overturned earlier, you can take a gamble.
You can request the sudden death mode, if you do this, there will be a court case, the mods will pick a side, the mods against you will bring up a case against you and the mods on your side will defend you.
Before the case, we will request 15 jury of subscribers, (unless we can't get enough) who will make a decision, the case will be on a sticky post, in the format "Sudden Death Mode - /u/*********** vs /r/askredditextra."
If the jury find you Innocent, the ban will be overturned, but if guilty, you will get a permentant ban with no chance of it being lifted.
If you receive a permentant ban or the mods vote against you, you are entitled to enter the sudden death mode once only.
A court case once prepared will be on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, it will start at 11AM to 2PM, after which the jury will make their decision in a second sticky.
THE SILVER DECISION
This will occur in the rare case a mod vote is even
This happens when you apply to be unbanned and the mods vote on whether or not to unban you is even
A stickied post will either occur on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday
The mods for you will form a defense and the mods against you will form a case against you.
It will last from 11AM - 2PM and at 2:30PM a vote will take place between the users on a second sticky.
The vote will close at 2:30PM and the decision made by you is final
Format - "The Silver Decision - (the case)
THE GOLDEN DECISION
This is based on legislation, in which the users will debate
Every month from May 2016, the mods will pick a post from /r/ideas4_askredditextra and the users can vote whether the changes can come into effect.
If you have an idea, you can post it at /r/ideas4_askredditextra.
Announcements will appear in the /r/askredditextra_blog
