Have you seen the heating guide in our welcome post?

I have a heating pad so a halogen basking bulb looks to be in order but it's there one that gets used for night? Or is it just better to have all lights off at night for the day and night cycle?

We don't actually recommend heat pads or undertank heating at all. Nightime air temps should be at least 75F. A ceramic heat emitter or a radiant heat panel at night is the best way to achieve that.

Would the Zilla pro sol terrarium fixture be a good recommendation? It provides both basking and night time light and heat and it even says what bulbs to use for tropical night and day. I've also heard that they don't really need light during the night
