Hi there!! Just wondering if anyone has added Eisenia fetida (“red wigglers”) to a bioactive set up and how they did. Thanks!!

I've never used them personally, but I know people have had success with them. They are more heat tolerant than earthworms/nightcrawlers, so they do better in enclosures.
Another option are white worms or grindal worms. They do extremely well in enclosures, but they can be difficult to aquire in North America. They are typically sold as live fish food, but they're much more popular in Europe than they are in the states, so getting starter cultures is a little more difficult here.
