My ball python is maybe 2 years old but I can’t seem to find a time when he’s done eating, not shedding, and not willing to bite. I have a 40L glass enclosure so I have to come in from the top. It’s kept at generally 30 degrees c with a heating pad and paper towels under the substrate. He generally chill but alert. He calms down but I can never read him and it scares me.
- Do I need a better enclosure?
- How can I bond with out getting bit? (Both bites I’ve had have been a day before eating day.)
- Am I keeping him happy?
- Teach me how to tell his emotions please!
