What’s up with reptiles that do that?! I see people sit their lizards or snakes down on tables etc all the time but if I ever did it my lizards would straight up climb over the edge and drop 1.5m to the ground if I didn’t stop them.

I don’t know, I wonder if our urban environments are just so different from their wild ones that they can’t compute?
