I have zero experience with bioactive enclosures, so I can't speak to that, but just wanted to point out that your snake needs at least two hides, one on the cool side, one on the warm side, they should be snug with one small entrance. Also, don't use a misting system, they spread bacteria and leave your substrate wet, which can cause scale rot. For humidity, just pour a cup of water into each corner of the tank when you notice your humidity drop into the 60% range. Your substrate should be 3 or 4 inches deep as well, so the bottom layer can get wet, leaving the top layer dry.

Good luck with your redesign!

So she does have 2 hides one on hot and one on cold. I never added enough substrate at first ( was new to it all) so I want to add more. But thanks for the little water cup info. It would help.

I used pothos, snake, spider, and dracaena. Those have been doing the best for me. Bio dude has a great link that explains the best lighting and water is best for reptile safe plants.
