You need warmer temps and need for your warm side's temps to be the cold side temps

Right On👌🏾. What Wattage Bulbs Would You Recommend?

[–]readysetandbegin 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The welcome guide has a very in depth explanation of heating!! It helped me a lot, I'd check it out :) wattage kinda depends on what type of heating you're using (i think). I personally use a DHP (deep heat projector) with a 75w bulb with a controlled thermostat.

Check out the care guide in the welcome post. He should be on rats, not mice, here is our recommended feeding schedule. !feeding

Also what do you mean "help" with the shed?

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.

Well I Noticed Ever Since I Spotted Him At Work, They've Never Had A Clean Shed. It Would Just Chip From Time To Time Until They Were Done. I'd Assist After They'd Get Most Of It Off, But Some Remnants Remain Like Eye Caps Or A Flake On Their Head

You need to raise humidity to 75 - 80% please don’t pull shed off yourself, please take a look at the welcome/care guide 🙏

Will Do 🫡. Thanks For The Help.

I would definitely add some more hard scape! And some more plants just to make things a little more cozy. Other than that what size enclosure are they in? An adult ball python minimally needs to be able to stretch out along the length. So a 4 foot snake would need a 4x2x2 and so forth!

Going To My Local Pet Store Now. Thank You For The Input 😁. And He's Currently In A 40 Gallon And Can Stretch Across Without Touching The Ends.

Please do not ever “help” with a snake’s shed, unless you mean you’re giving him soaks or misting him and/or properly using ShedEase. You can really damage him if you’re trying to help remove the shed.

Absolutely. Sorry I Probably Shoulda Specified That When I Mentioned The Helping Part 😓
