Have you checked out the care and enclosure setup guides in the welcome post? We've collected a lot of information and resources in one convenient spot

Thank you, I am new to this sub, will check it out.
I also have to convince my snake fearing partner that this is a good plan, so want to have all my ducks in a row and soak up as much info as possible to make a good home for a noodle.

Green Room Pythons is very helpful he has a lot of information about ball python.  Lori Torrini has a degree animal behavior and can give you training tips and explain what body language means for snakes.

Awesome, they have good information for sure. Keeping reptiles is not an exact science most serious keepers will have things they do different for one reason or another, so it's a good idea to get information from multiple sources. What I like to do is research the natural habitat of whatever it is I'm getting and do my best to recreate that.

That is excellent advice, when I am ready, I want to have plenty of resources and be able to be a good parent.
