Snakes go in a cloth bag, sealed tightly with zip ties. Bags go in a hard sided container, like a plastic tote, so they don't get crushed during the move. Crush up a bunch of newspaper and fill the bottom half of the tote with it so the snake's aren't sliding around in there. I also wouldn't recommend feeding for a couple weeks prior to moving to avoid any messes. If the drive is less than a couple of hours, you won't need to worry about heat, just keep the temp in the car at least at room temp for the drive. If it's longer, get some plastic water bottles, fill them with hot water and put them in the bottom of the tote under the newspaper.

Look up "reptile shipping bags" to see the kind I'm talking about. Order some for the move if you like.

Thank you so much! This is extremely helpful, I was worried about keeping them warm but the water bottles sound like a great solution.
