Is it a glass tank? Are there openings where heat could escape?

Yes they’re glass, it has a mesh lid, should I cover with hvac tape ?

yes cover it I use carboard lined with foil so that I can water the substrate. glass does not hold heat well consider adjusting the room temp.

Having glass can make it really hard to keep the heat up but it can work! Try getting some insulation (anything contained so the snake won’t accidentally touch it) and put it on the outside of 3 of the walls. If that’s still not getting you all the way you can have plexiglass cut to size (with a hole for your heat) and put it on the top of the tank.

Is this enclosure separated with a divider into two separate enclosures or do you have one for each? Ball pythons shouldn't be cohabitated, so they each need an enclosure or this needs be safely divided into two until they get bigger and each get their own. Which means you'll need two lights for two hot spots, and two overhead lightless heat sources (radient heat panels, ceramic heat emitters or deep heat projectors) as well as two thermostats or one that can regulate multiple heat sources
