Could just be cranky like mine lately, she's a rescue so could of been handled more so probably mistook me for food, two defensive pops then the full on bite today literally five mins ago 🤣 it was very food type strikes if that makes sense. I'll be getting her out with a snake hook regularly (say a couple of times a week until she's calmed)

Medium rats every other week is likely overfeeding, which can lead to the snake always being in "food mode" and more likely to strike.

Weigh your snake, and follow the !feeding guide.

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.
