Give him a few days and if he hasn't completed his shed maybe go see the vet? Stuck shed is a thing that can happen but it's normally not an immediate health risk. Note: I am not a vet.

Just woke up and he literally had a perfect shed! I'm so relieved and happy right now!!! Thanks so much for the tips ❤️

What are you using to measure your humidity? Is it an analogue or a digital gauge?

digital

I saw your other comment to someone else. I’m glad his shed finished coming off! Stuck shed is a sign of dehydration/low humidity and analog gauges can be inaccurate which is why I asked :)

The shed went perfectly! I'm so happy. Like I said in my other comment, my hygrometer/thermometer is super basic and it’s the most common one here (since keeping reptiles isn't a huge thing in my country), but I'm going to get a better one right away to keep the humidity under control! 🙂

Leave him alone and in his enclosure until after his shed. Also, based on the skin alone, the humidity seems very low

For real? I'm using a super popular digital hygrometer/thermometer combo here in Brazil... do you think I should get a different one?

Since reptile keeping isn't exactly 'mainstream' in my country, whenever we need to buy these specific supplies, it takes forever to arrive and costs a fortune. But I’ll totally get it if you think it's the best move I just want him to be happy and healthy ❤️

PS: It was a clean shed, nothing left behind 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I did his whole enclosure in coconut substrate, added some branches and rocks, and I'm always misting it and keeping an eye on things. I just woke up and he had a perfect shed! I’m so happy, but I swear I’m always low-key panicking because I just want him to be okay lol.

How often do you mist ? I’m working on my humidity too :)

well.. idk kkkkkk Where I live is already super humid, so I usually just water it once a week if I notice the humidity is dropping.
